Michael Rutner is a private investment and family office executive and founder of Eta Investments, an investment platform focusing on low middle market private investments.   He has advised family offices on private and public investments, including serving as Chief Investment Officer.  Michael began his career as a transactional attorney and has both advised and executed on transactions in the oil and gas, aviation, surveillance and security, health care, technology and real estate industries, both as a private equity and early stage venture investor.  Michael is also an avid "search fund" investor, and is one of a limited number of investors across the country participating in that entrepreneurial model of private investment.

Michael earned his Masters of Business Administration at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, his Doctorate of Jurisprudence at Boston College Law School, and his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Pennsylvania.  He resides in Dallas, Texas.
